Family & Guests:
Family and friends traveling with Nikon School students are welcome. There are packages available for divers who do not wish to
participate in the photographic instructional program, and for non-divers as well. These guests are free to join the
group for our presentations, attend the final night student slide show, and dive with us each day on the photo boat
(when space is available).
Course Completion:
On the last night, each student will contribute several images that were produced during the week for the group slide
presentation that will be presented for all guests at the hotel. At this time, a specialty certification in underwater
photography will be awarded to every student.
Completion of the Basic Nikon School of Underwater Photography will qualify students for attending the Advanced
School or other special underwater photography programs that Nikon sponsors.

Advanced Course:
The Nikon School will also conduct a limited number of advanced course sessions throughout the year. More difficult
techniques using the Nikonos-V are included, which also cover the use of housed SLR systems. Advanced course students
will supply most of their own photo gear, but will have the opportunity to borrow some equipment from the school for
experimentation. It is recommended, but not required, that advanced students are self-equipped with a housed SLR camera.
Schedule:
All Nikon School courses begin with travel from home on a Saturday, and students return the following Saturday.
